Funds Society GEN-WEALTH AWARDS: application is now open
The Gen-Wealth Awards are an initiative by Funds Society, presented as part of the Funds Society Leaders Summit with CFA Society Miami, taking place in Miami on April 21. The awards recognize outstanding financial advisors and advisory teams at different career stages, honoring achievement in scale and growth—from rising talent to lifetime achievement.
A core goal of the Gen-Wealth Awards is to spotlight how different generations strengthen the leadership pipeline and support long-term continuity in the advisory industry. In addition to the individual awards by generation, the program includes a team category that highlights firms where multiple generations are actively working together in the advisory business.
Selections will be made jointly by CFA Society Miami and Funds Society.
Funds Society GEN-WEALTH Awards are open to any advisors who meet the following requirements per category:
Gen Z Advisor of the Year
- Date of Birth between 1997 and 2012
- Minimum of $10 million in Assets Under Management (AUM)
- At least 3 years of industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years at current firm
- Clean regulatory record
Millennial Advisor of the Year
- Date of Birth between 1981 and 1996
- Minimum of $70 million in Assets Under Management (AUM)
- At least 7 years of industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years at current firm
- Clean regulatory record
Gen X Advisor of the Year
- Date of Birth between 1965 and 1980
- Minimum of $150 million in Assets Under Management (AUM)
- At least 15 years of industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years at current firm
- Clean regulatory record
Lifetime Achievement Advisor of the Year
- Date of Birth before 1965
- Minimum of $500 million in Assets Under Management (AUM)
- Over 30 years of industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years at current firm
- Clean regulatory record
Multigenerational Advisory Team Award
- At least three generations represented within the team
- Minimum of $500 million in combined Assets Under Management (AUM)
- Minimum of 2 years at current firm
- Clean regulatory record
